The economic status of young men educators in the public schools of the Tri-Cities of the State of Washington
Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>It was the purpose of this study to determine the economic status of the young men educators of the public schools of Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland, Washington. Minor problems investigated dealt primarily with: (1) personal and family characteristics; (2) educational certification characteristics; (3) income from contractual sources; (4) income from non-contractual sources; (5) comparisons of educators' salaries with those of selected other professional groups; (6) level of living maintained by the Tri-City educators and their families; and (7) discernible trends in the level of living of the educators at three age intervals.</p>
