iPad use for students with special needs

<p>Smart Mobile apps and devices have revolutionized the ways of communication. Also, these have become an essential part of daily life. Use has been not only among younger people, but middle-aged and elderly people have also embraced iPads and other smart mobile digital devices to communicate with others. These devices have also impacted student achievement, and in this regard, students with special needs have also benefited from iPads and similar mobile devices and smart apps. This research assumes that the use of iPads and mobile devices can significantly support students with special needs. From this current research, we know that iPads and mobile devices can be user friendly for disabled or special needs children as well as the general population. Apple, maker of the iPad, has shown a dedication to make their devices and apps accessible to educators and to special needs students as well. This paper will investigate contemporary scholarly research to identify the significance of iPad use regarding the education needs of disabled children. This study found that the majority of special education teachers agree that iPads, mobile devices, and smart apps have been fundamental in their classes; they provide a number of aids including for those with audio or verbal issues and have a place in curriculum planning and in the special needs classroom.</p>
