The second work is a twentieth century French sonatine in three movements for bassoon and piano. This work is called Sonatine, by Alexandre Tansman. The final work being represented in this recital is a duet for bassoon and clarinet accompanied by string orchestra. For the purposes of this recital the bassoon and clarinet will be accompanied by the piano reduction of the string orchestra.
