Although the principal interest is centered upon the \"narrative” prayer type, other forms of prayers will be enumerated and discussed as a basis for an ultimate comparison as to the frequency of the special type under consideration. The conditions inducing prayers of all types, the special aspects under which God is addressed. His attributes on which there seems to be general insistence, and the cult of the Blessed Virgin and the saints will be considered.
