21st Century Success Strategy Programs fo At-Risk Middle School Students

<p>Addressing the needs of middle school students who are considered to be at risk of foiling in school, has presented many challenges to educators. Previous studies have indicated that successful programs have provided these students with the tools and resources to help them make significant strides in their educational endeavors. This research will analyze the teaching of 21st Century success skills as a framework for providing at-risk middle school students with the competencies that will help them succeed in education and in life.</p> <p>This study tracks and analyzes the outcome for middle school students who have been given the tools to succeed in school through a training program provided by E3, Education, Excellence, and Equity. Focusing on five competencies including: Adaptability, Critical Analysis, Cross-cultural Communication, Imagination/Innovation, and Teamwork, the students will learn to apply these competencies to their own personal lives, both in and out of school.</p>
