In order to help these struggling readers acquire the skills to read and continue to progress in all academic areas, teachers need to have the knowledge of remedial programs available for teaching reading skills and strategies to assist these struggling readers gain access to the entire curriculum.</p> <p>There are numerous if not overwhelming articles and books that offer strategies and programs that support and teach struggling readers.
