Exploring Teacher Attitudes Towards Alternative Scheduling

<p>Schools and faculty continue to struggle with the possibility of moving to an alternative schedule. This case study builds on E. Corley’s (1997) study looking at how teachers perceive and react to the possibility of changing to an alternative schedule. Told through the lens of one teacher going through the process, this is an in depth look at how one school approached the decision to change to an alternative schedule and how leadership skills, knowledge of the change management process, and decision-making played a critical role in how teachers perceived the process. Following the case study is an analytical commentary on the case study using current literature for comparison.</p>
