Students participate in two weeks of competitive team sports. Students also participated in two weeks of cooperative skill-building activities. Students completed surveys in which self-esteem, cooperation, competition, and carry over to non-physical education activities were measured. Results indicated that cooperative physical education activities improved self-esteem, cooperation and carry over.
