The independent study curriculum is designed to provide a challenging experience for above-average students within the heterogeneous class helping them heighten their critical thinking skills. A group of qualified volunteers will complete the assignments and in turn teach the other class mates what they learned. Students will gain a richer understanding of the subject in the process. Upon completion, a program evaluation survey and follow-up interview are required of the participants and teachers.
