Parental Involvement: An Essential Ingredient for a Successful School
Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>It has been noted that parental involvement plays an important role in a child’s academic and behavioral success. The purpose of this study is to show the relationship between parental involvement and the child’s academic and behavioral success. Elementary teachers were asked to fill out questionnaires and answer interview questions regarding the importance of parental involvement. The results were similar to other studies done on parental involvement This study has found that students whose parents are involved, tend to do better both academically and socially compared to their peers whose parents are not involved.</p>
