Su objetivo principal fue analizar y comparar la exposición a la violencia en estudiantes pertenecientes a familias biparentales y monoparentales en el distrito 26 de octubre. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño descriptivo-comparativo, se hizo uso del instrumento denominado Cuestionario de Exposición a la Violencia (CEV), creado por Izaskun Orue y Esther Calvete (2010) y adaptado por Martell y Vites (2019) en adolescentes de la ciudad de Piura. La muestra estuvo conformada por 300 estudiantes en edades comprendidas entre los 12 a 17 años pertenecientes a familias biparentales y monoparentales de las diversas instituciones educativas públicas o privadas del distrito 26 de octubre-Piura. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que existen diferencias significativas (p<.05) según el tipo de familia, siendo más frecuente la exposición a la violencia en las familias monoparentales. Its main objective was to analyze and compare exposure to violence in students belonging to two-parent and single-parent families in the 26 de Octubre district. A quantitative approach was used with a descriptive-comparative design, use was made of the instrument called the Exposure to Violence Questionnaire (CEV), created by Izaskun Orue and Esther Calvete (2010) and adapted by Martell and Vites (2019) in adolescents of the city of Piura. The sample was made up of 300 students between the ages of 12 and 17 belonging to two-parent and singleparent families from various public or private educational institutions in the 26 de Octubre-Piura district. The results obtained indicated that there are significant differences (p<.05) depending on the type of family, with exposure to violence being more frequent in single-parent families.
