On the one hand, it analyzes the importance of women throughout history and their presence in the literary canon. To accomplish this, the present literary contents are analyzed in some manuals of Spanish Language and Literature of the first cycle of Bachillerato and in some History of Hispanic Literature guides to check the female presence in the literary canon used from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. On the other hand, it offers a proposal for update, innovate and orientate towards gender equality of the literary contents analyzed, being consistent at all times with the new educational legislation, crystallized in the LOMLOE. Therefore, the proposed didactic suggestion, apart from presenting a repertoire of texts that promote gender equity and competence learning, aims to raise awareness of a group of writers who are far from the academic literary canon. On these two axes, the literary canon is carried out through two paths: a traditional and innovative one, followed by active methodologies related to the New Information and Communication Technologies, NICT. Por un lado, analiza la importancia de la mujer a lo largo de la historia y su presencia en el canon literario. Para ello, se analizan los contenidos literarios presentes en algunos manuales de Lengua Castellana y Literatura del primer ciclo de Bachillerato y en algunas guías de Historia de la Literatura Hispánica para comprobar la presencia femenina en el canon literario utilizado desde la Edad Media hasta el siglo XIX. Por otro lado, se ofrece una propuesta de actualización, innovación y orientación hacia la igualdad de género de los contenidos literarios analizados, siendo en todo momento coherentes con la nueva legislación educativa, cristalizada en la LOMLOE. En consecuencia, la sugerencia didáctica planteada, aparte de presentar un repertorio de textos que promueven una equidad de género y un aprendizaje competencial, pretende dar a conocer un grupo de escritoras que se encuentran alejadas del canon literario académico. Sobre estos dos ejes señalados, la modificación literaria se lleva a cabo mediante dos vías: una tradicional y otra innovadora, acompañadas de metodologías activas relacionadas con las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y de la Comunicación, NTIC.
