El método de Chebyshev para el cálculo de las raíces de ecuaciones no lineales

In the doctoral thesis presents a study with four distinct fronts: the first historical court, in which we enter the initial ideas that resulted in the Chebyshev method. Also sheds light on the controversy surrounding the different allocation enclose the authorship of that method. In the following two approaches, we delve into the study of real and complex dynamics of the method emphasizing knowledge of the basins of attraction of the solutions and in the character of the fixed points of the iteration functions. Finally, we study the method in Banach spaces, where we use several techniques to analyze convergence in different contexts.
