Reactividad de azoalquenos ópticamente activos

Esta Tesis Doctoral trata la reactividad de los azoalquenos en cicloadiciones [4+2]. Las reacciones se ven muy favorecidas por irradiación con microondas y los sustituyentes derivados de carbohidratos provocan una alta selectividad facial que puede controlarse con la elección de la configuración adecuada. El estudio teórico con métodos semiempíricos y DFT proporciona una justificación adecuada para los resultados.
