Cicloadiciones tándem [4+2]/[3+2] de nitroalquenos con olefinas

Las reaciones de cicloadición tándem [4+2]/[3+2] de nitroalquenos con éteres vinílicos ha permitido la síntesis sistemas policíclicos con una elevada estereoselectividad. La versión asimétrica utilizando un nitroalqueno quiral derivado de azúcar transcurrió con una elevada diastereoselectividad facial. El proceso tándem también se ha extendido a reacciones de tres componentes: nitroalqueno, etil vinil éter y olefinas electrónicamente deficientes. El origen de la selectividad y control estereoquímico de las reacciones con etil vinil éter se ha racionalizado por medio de cálculos computacionales.
