Esta tesis doctoral ha tratado de estudiar el efecto de la melatonina sobre la fagocitosis y el metabolismo oxidativo (niveles de anión superóxido) en heterófilos de tórtolas collarizas (Streptopelia risoria), en animales de diferentes grupos de edad (jóvenes, maduros y viejos).
