The following section presents original research focused on the moderating effects of growth mindset on the relationships between chronic stress and negative stress-related health outcomes, including a discussion regarding effective preventative measures and the importance of targeting communities whose socioeconomic disadvantage renders them most vulnerable to the debilitating effects of chronic stress.
