Interviews with Fairtrade cotton farmers and local staff members of a Fairtrade cotton organization provide insightful data on Fairtrade cotton. Results reveal that Fairtrade cotton contributes to the social, socioeconomic, and environmental development of cotton producers but not without limitations.
