Abstract
dc:description.abstractLeukemia is a hematological malignancy or a cancer of the blood. It develops in the bone marrow. Leukemia is usually described either as "acute" or "chronic". In this thesis, looks into understanding the wide variety of treatment for leukemia in children. in summary, with addition of supportive care and palliative care, treatment may include a mix of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and bone marrow transplant. The outlook or prognosis for an individual child is affected by the type of leukemia.
