<p>This project attempts to study Nigeria's colonial political parties and the consequences of British colonial policies as the foundation of ethnic issues in Nigeria's contemporary politics. It describes how particular colonial policies impact modern Nigerian politics, reinforce division among ethnic groups, and influence voters’ decision when electing political leaders.</p>
