dc:description.abstract<p>In this paper, I argue how Humayun Ahmed's <em>Debi </em>offers insight into the function that archives play in creating radical nationalism in a country like Bangladesh; how these archives work to consolidate political power for a select few, and how they further subjugate and silence the country’s subalterns.</p>
