The Ursuline Sisters of Mount St. Joseph, Maple Mount, Kentucky, conduct seventeen public schools; thirteen of which are in Kentucky; two, in New Mexico; and two, in Missouri. It is the purpose of this thesis to furnish a brief historical account of these seventeen public schools together with brief historical facts of the parish in which these schools are located, in so far as these facts are related to the establishment of the schools.
