While numerous neuroscience, emotional, motivational, and cognitive experts have explored how older adults behave relative to younger adults, their studies have yielded mixed results. PGA Tour players provide a unique setting to test experienced participants competing for large prizes in a competitive environment. In the study, I find these players exhibit risk-seeking behavior in losses and risk-averse behavior in gains.
