Between these points, the area on both sides of the Missouri is to be developed in a variety of ways. Accomplishment of all the proposed projects will require investment of nearly one billion dollars over a twenty-five year period. Funds will be derived from several sources but mostly from private enterprise. During the early stages of the program, funding will come mostly from the Federal Government.
