And there are many indications that the changes occurring so far are merely the initial stages of a thorough-going revitalization of a closed society and a stagnant economy. | This study provides a contemporary view of this newly-energized Spanish economic system, with particular attention to its emerging market economy. | The approach will be of an exploratory and descriptive nature, supplemented by comparative and analytical techniques where appropriate.
