Formal And Informal Peer Leadership On A High School Varsity Baseball Team: A Qualitative Study Of Peer Leadership Effects On A Varsity Baseball Player’s Motivation And Sense of Team Cohesion

To date no academic research has been conducted to study peer leadership with an opportunity to explore how peer leaders affect player motivation and a player’s sense of team cohesion on a varsity baseball team. This study will provide a data analysis based on one-on-one interviews with varsity baseball players representing one of six high schools in the Portland Oregon Metro-area for data collection.
