A Dissertation on the Apperceptive Basis for the Presentation of Accounting Principles, for a First Years Course in Secondary Schools.
Abstract
dc:description.abstractIn order to present a dissertation on this subject we w ill divide the subject matter under two separate heads, namely: | (a) Which of the many accounting principles should be presented during the first year? | (b) What is the apperceptive basis of the child who takes up the study of bookkeeping and accounting in the seconddary school? | In answering these two questions it will not be our purpose to take up each question separately. We will begin with the concepts or apperceptive basis that the child already has, then step by step bring in the fundamental accounting principles essential in order to give a basic foundation in the subject necessary for future study.
