dc:description.abstractThe purpose of this investigation was two-fold: | (1) to study the effects of the solvent and the nature of the catalyst on the course of the reaction of 2-naphthol with acrylonitrile; | (2) to determine whether a relationship between reaction conditions and product distribution could be established.
