Innumerable educators and sociologists have concerned themselves with the ideas in The American Scholar by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Indeed, thinkers of every variety have Interested themselves in these two paramount documents because their contents prove them to be genuine instruments of American nationalism. In short, each of these contributions is a milestone in American history.
