Anticipated results will be to return the benefits of a \"community forest\" to a barren school campus and to provide various outdoor education areas where children can play, learn, and most importantly, develop an appreciation for their environment. This project includes construction of outdoor classroom facilities, establishment of the Central Elementary-High School Environmental Education Committee, production of a school curriculum guide to help teachers learn how to use the out of doors to teach all subjects, and establishment of a new section in the school media center to house all environmental education resource material.
