Specifically, my focus will be to discuss the significance of Moosa or Moses in the Quran, with a theological perspective. I will answer the following question regarding Moosa in the Quran. Is the mention of Moosa in the Quran linked to the Jewish influence on Muhammad and if not, what is the reason of Moosa being mentioned so many times in the Quran? To answer the above question, I will explore two aspects of Moosa in the Quran. First, I will challenge the claim made by some scholars indicating that Moosa is mentioned so many times in the Quran due to the influence of the presence of Jews in Medina. Because this claim has its roots in another claim which states that the contents in the Quran regarding Moosa and the Israelites are copied from the Tora and the Bible, I will briefly discuss its impact as well. I will present proof which will disprove the above claims, through the study and understanding of the verses in the Quran that mention Moosa. Second, I will present the reader with what I believe is the true reason behind why Moosa is mentioned repeatedly in the Quran, which is that, Moosa has been given an elevated status as a prophet in the Quran. This conclusion will also be from the explanation of the verses in the Quran that are linked to Moosa.</p>","abstract_html":"&lt;p&gt;As a Muslim studying Islam in the United States of America, I want my paper to focus on the holy book of Muslims, the Quran.
