Abstract
dc:description.abstract
This ethnography is the narrative compiling my time as a first year Intern teacher. While this document is just the beginning of my journey as an educator, it proved extremely beneficial when I was able to look at how much growth had occurred. It is vital to know who and where you teach in order to best serve your students. Over the year I interviewed students, their families, my coworkers, and individuals throughout the community to paint myself a better picture of the community I was working alongside. Through this committed research I sought to find my place as a Social Justice Educator for my students now and in the future, which I believe that I have begun this year.
