<p>The concern of this study will be to consider the over-all problem: Can planned educational programs for parents help to compensate for some of the deficiencies brought about by the culture of poverty? More specifically will be studied the problem: Can parent education through study-discussion groups help disadvantaged families to a better understanding of themselves and others with resulting changes in attitudes and/or behavior in family relationships and child care and development?</p>
