It was the purpose of this study to investigate and gather data from many sources which pertained to college and university housing; to compare and evaluate other institutions of higher learning with that of Central Washington State College in regards to residence halls, student activities, and the Head Resident position; and to gain a better understanding of the position of Head Resident by soliciting the opinions of students and Head Residents in the form of a questionnaire so that meaningful information could be compiled and evaluated.
