The Effect of Positive Reinforcement on the Attending Behavior of a Distractible Child
Abstract
dc:description.abstractIt was the purpose of the study (1) to evaluate the use of a token reinforcement system in modifying the attending behavior of a distractible child; (2) to demonstrate a technique which a teacher may find useful in helping the distractible child learn to manage his own attention; and (3) to show the relationship between attending behavior and academic performance.
