Abstract
dc:description.abstractIt is the purpose of this study to determine how children who have been taught place value of number by number base systems on the fifth grade level achieve on two standardized achievement tests and a teacher-made test as compared to those children who have been taught using several ideas and techniques of the traditional approach.
