A Comparative Study of the Joplin Reading Plan and the Traditional Reading Plan in the Northshore School District

It was the purpose of this study to compare the effectiveness of two reading programs, one using the Joplin Plan of reading, and the other, the Traditional plan of grouping for reading instruction. A comparison of the results of reading achievement test scores was made between the groups.
