Abstract
dc:description.abstractIt was the purpose of this study (1) to determine the respective effectiveness of isometric and isotonic training in the development of leg strength; (2) to show the relationship of each of the two methods in leg strength development; (3) to investigate the improvement of jumping ability, as revealed through an experimental study; and (4) to compare both methods with the physical education exercises used at Davis High School.
