A Descriptive Study of the College Elementary School Camping Experience of Four Fifth Graders
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis study presented a review of the philosophy and history of school camping, the evolution of the outdoor education program at the College Elementary School, and a study of four fifth grade children before, during, and after their first school camping experience. Interviews, observations, written tests, sociograms, examination of records, and standard camp evaluations were utilized.
