A Comparative Study of Two Methods of Teaching Reading
Abstract
dc:description.abstractOne purpose of this study was to compare a reading program taught using a basic reading text, supplemental books, and teacher motivation to a reading program designed as an independent, developmental, multi-level program that utilizes graphic and ego motivation. Another purpose was to find out if pupils in the program will show a significantly greater gain in reading achievement than do pupils in the other.
