Abstract
dc:description.abstractIt was the purpose of this study (1) to examine the relationship between socioeconomic status and intelligence, of eighth grade students in the same school system, and their achievement in certain school subjects; (2) to show the relationship of a selected instrument for the measurement of socioeconomic status to school achievement and intelligence; and (3) to present the significance of these findings and their application in a school situation.
