Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe object of this paper is to assist the ceramics teacher in experimentation with local clays. The use of local clays has a definite esthetic value, especially when the teacher makes use of all of the instructional aids associated with the geology and industrial–ceramic aspects which may be incorporated with field trips and the experimentation and processing necessary to make the clay useful.
