Synthesis and biological evaluation of polynuclear cyclometalated ruthenium, rhodium and iridium complexes based on a PPI dendritic scaffold
Abstract
dc:description.abstractA series of chelating, bidentate (C,N-) monomeric and dendritic ligands based on a poly(propyleneimine) dendritic scaffold were synthesized via a Schiff-base condensation reaction of the relevant amine and either naphthaldehyde or benzaldehyde. These reactions yielded air- and moisture-stable solids or oils. These compounds were isolated in good yields and characterized using standard spectroscopic and analytical techniques.
