As such, this paper follows a path broken by Andrew Sharf and his study of British press reaction to Nazi atrocities committed against Jews, Deborah Lipstadt and her book analyzing American press coverage of the same, and Sharon Friedman's thesis on the Afrikaner press' treatment of Nazi Germany and the Jews.
