The reproductive biology and ecology of Colchicum (Colchicaceae) in southern Africa
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to detennine if the rodent pollination system extends to Colchicum, as predicted by Johnson et al. (2001), to test the importance of floral scent for attraction of rodent pollinators, and to investigate the factors that influence seed set in populations.
