Partial oxidation of ethanol over vanadium iron antimonate catalysts

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

VSbO₄ and FeSbO₄ are proven catalysts for the amm(oxidation) of propane/propylene. These catalysts systems have been shown to possess over-oxidation limiting characteristics. Ethanol oxidation is carried out in two-staged processes industrially, mainly because of the challenges presented by over-oxidation of the intermediates to carbon oxides.
