Abstract
dc:description.abstractBrain computer interface (BCI) technology provides a method of communication and control for people with severe motor disabilities. This thesis explores the application of a Fast Fourier transform and support vector machine (FFT-SVM) to the problem of mental task detection in EEG-based brain computer interface implementation.
