Repeated full dose thrombolysis in patients hospitalised with myocardial infarction : safety and efficacy
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe treatment and outcome myocardial infarction has been revolutionised by the demonstration that thrombolytic grugs can open the infarct-related arterty, salvage ischaemic myocardium, preserve left ventricular function and save lives. However, thrombolytic drugs are not uniformly effective in securing or maintaining patency of the infarct-related artery.
