Mobile phone text messaging for improving the uptake of vaccinations : a systematic review
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe research undertaken for this MPH dissertation examines the effectiveness of SMS as an intervention to promote vaccination. Part A is the research protocol, which outlines the background and the process of this research. This study utilizes systematic review methods based on those of the Cochrane Collaboration to synthesize the best current evidence from articles archived in various bibliographic databases and clinical trial registers. Part B presents the entire research project in a format suitable for journal submission. The background of this research project is summarised and the results are presented and discussed.
