Abstract
dc:description.abstractClimate change is predicted to have a negative impact on world food security in the next 40 years. Resurrection plants can withstand highly variable and harsh climatic conditions. This makes them ideal candidates to elucidate possible mechanisms which can be used to adapt crop plants to tolerate variable climatic conditions associated with climate change.
